![]() i'm pretty sure that log is from when i ran it in 32-bit mode. it just shows the game starting and then it stopped at "starting sound engine". Well shit, i checked the logs and there's nothing useful there. Now i know what you might be thinking: no logs, no help. i checked the task manager and javaw.exe didn't even show up from what i saw, and i tried it many times. the launcher just disappeared (since it had disappear on launch on) and then reappeared almost immediately. Now, technic launcher would actually run vanilla minecraft in 32-bit, but if i tried 64-bit it wouldn't work. basically, his laptop is 64-bit, he is running windows 10 64-bit, regular minecraft runs in 64-bit from the minecraft launcher. i went over to fix it today and spent around and hour trying to fix it. So this is actually happening on my friend's pc.
